GearWatch v2.01.01 Released

Equipment and fleet management software offers new features and enhancements

Denver, Colorado – October 1, 2009 – Profitool, a leading developer of construction management software, announced the release of GearWatch version 2.01.01 of its equipment and fleet management software. This new version of GearWatch is available immediately.

GearWatch v2.01.01 offers new features and product enhancements, including:

Parts Inventory module
Performance improvements and functional enhancements to the Work Order screen
Startup maximized can now be customized
Support for 64-bit systems for the GearWatch Web Service and client (in 32-bit compatibility mode)
New reports for the Parts Inventory module

Utilizing an intuitive Windows user interface, GearWatch runs on Microsoft’s SQL Server relational database. The system’s overall design centers on the needs of the equipment manager and equipment maintenance shops. However, the need to integrate this software product with accounting/job costing software systems was not forgotten in the program design. Functionality is incorporated into the software that allows for the automated transfer of data from products like Profitool, Sage Timberline Office, and Sage MasterBuilder.
