He was especially excited about the fact that since migrating to Profitool (some time in 1985), ACCO had not missed a single Weekly Payroll. At the time, I found that very hard to believe. However, I must admit, I am truly impressed by the level of service that I have received from Profitool. I do not believe that we have been down for more than 2 hours in the last four years. Additionally, our payroll processing record remains perfect. I have been directly involved with the Profitool application at Mainzeal for nearly 14 years.  During that time, we have made changes in both our hardware and operating systems, and on only 2 occasions, experienced issues related to the application that caused it to not be available to the users.  This is a truly a remarkable record for a large-scale ERP software product.  In addition, Mainzeal has never had to revert to a backup for any reason, nor has there been any question of any loss of data or integrity.  The Profitool application is a remarkably stable environment...

Through the use of utility computer programs and consulting services provided by Profitool, Zachry Construction Corp. was able to successfully migrate their Profitool system from the HP True64 operating system to RedHat Linux.  This migration was accomplished seamlessly and with minimal impact to end-users.  Zachry end-users especially appreciate the significant increase in processing speed and system capacity that has resulted from this technical platform migration.
