GearWatch.NET Coming Soon

Profitool, Inc. announced today that it is nearing completion of the latest version of its construction equipment maintenance management system, called GearWatch.NET. It is anticipated that this newly enhanced product will be released for beta testing in mid-September of this year and ready for production shortly thereafter. GearWatch.NET will operate as a standalone application or interface with various accounting software packages. It will run on Windows operating systems, storing data in a relational database such as Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL.

This much-awaited release represents a significant turning point in the company's 28-year history. According to Keith Lightfield, Executive Vice-President of Profitool, Inc., “PT6 is a significant step forward for our construction management software application, making it a much more contemporary ERP product.”

Profitool Parnters with Timberline

Profitool, Inc. announced today that recent discussions with Sage/Timberline have produced an agreement for Profitool to join Sage/Timberline’s Software Development Partner Program. The result will be that Profitool’s latest construction equipment maintenance management system, GearWatch.NET, will soon be released to seamlessly interface with Sage Timberline Office. Once integrated, it is anticipated that GearWatch.NET will reside on the same Timberline server, transferring and sharing select data from the same relational database.

Profitool Joins Qualcomm's Construction Equipment Partners Program

Profitool, Inc. announced today that recent discussions with Qualcomm's Wireless Business Solutions Division have produced an agreement for Profitool to join Qualcomm's Construction Equipment Partners Program. The result is that Profitool's latest construction equipment maintenance management system, GearWatch, now seamlessly interfaces with Qualcomm's GlobalTRACS application, a data acquisition system that updates each unit's status through a real-time telemetry link.
