Profitool 6 Recently Released…

DENVER, January 13, 2006

Profitool, Inc. is please to announce that Profitool 6 (PT6) was recently released and is ready for launch. This much-awaited release represents a significant turning point in the company’s 28-year history. According to Keith Lightfield, Executive Vice-President of Profitool, Inc., “PT6 is a significant step forward for our construction management software application, making it a much more contemporary ERP product.”

Some of the features that highlight PT6 include:

• Web User Interface – PT6 comes with a new, contemporary web user interface that performs fast and is rich with functionality. This web user interface is easy for the typical user to navigate with either the keyboard or the mouse (or both).

• C Source Code – For many years, the FORTRAN source code was the backbone of this construction software application. Today, C source code has completely replaced the FORTRAN code, supported by Perl, HTML, XML, Java, JavaScript, and other contemporary programming languages.

• SA Export/Profitool Query Server (PQS) – PT6 has an SA Export/PQS feature that allows users to capture data that is processed by the Profitool application and, in real time, easily pass it on to other databases and/or third-party applications. This feature is likely to prove to be very valuable to Profitool users.
